Utajärvi permits committee, 2 Jun 2026 §28 (permit 26-0018-RL): building permit approved for a 60 MW battery storage and control building at Pällinranta, Pällinkoskentie 15, property 889-405-0001-0001. No Fortum release found (one web search). CORRECTED 18 Oct 2026: Fortum's own project page (read 18 Oct 2026): 60 MW / 240 MWh; "rakentamisluvat kesäkuussa 2026", next the detailed design and procurement phase. Still planned: no construction start.
