What the sources say
Added 18 Oct 2026 from OpenStreetMap, the first row whose size and date rest on a volunteer's mapping rather than an owner's release: tags plant:output:electricity=1250kW, plant:storage=2982kWh, plant:type=LFP, start_date=2025-04-10. Elenia's 2025 annual review says it has "investoinut kahteen onnistuneesti käyttöön otettuun lisäakkuun", one commissioned in 2025 and one in January 2026, for supplying households during outages as at Kuru in 2020; it names no place or size, so the review confirms a 2025 Elenia battery and the map supplies where and how big.

From the owners’, developers’ and builders’ own releases, council decisions and permit bulletins, read by Vitreous and checked against the owners’ own words on 12 October 2026; a bracket such as “(Energy-Storage.news only)” in a field means the trade press is still the only source for it. Fingrid publishes no meter, no price and no instruction per battery, so this page carries no money: what one megawatt is paid in Fingrid’s markets is on the markets page, for the whole market and never for a named battery.
